Presenter Bio’s

Mike has been an active in the community since he arrived in San Diego in 2006. He lives his life in leather, whether he is wearing it or not, and embodies the concepts that are the foundation of Leather, trust, honor and respect. He owns two boy’s. He has worked diligently in the community both as a leader and volunteer for organizations such as the Beat and Greet, San Diego League of Gentlemen, Club-X, San Diego Leather Realm. He holds a firm belief that as a community, we need to work together, but at the same time, each group needs its own safe space for play, education and socializing.

Bryan Teague, American Leatherboy 2010, has been involved in the Leather Community since 1990. He and his Daddy moved to San Diego, CA in 2006.

He is the workshop coordinator for the San Diego League Of Gentlemen, webmaster for the San Diego Leather Pride and the Mr. San Diego Leather websites, host for the monthly Beat and Greets, and is a member of Club-X. Bryan has presented workshops on Fisting, Flogging, Piercing and Electricity, and is currently presenting on Daddy/boy relationships.

Ray Conser has been with his partner Richard for 31 years. After 20 years together, he started exploring the world of leather and fetish in order to inform and influence his artwork. He took the Pain Guild class in 2002 and was introduced to and experienced many leather-related fetishes. About the same time he started working with Mark Holmes making custom leathers. He has been in a leather relationship with Papa Tony since 2003. Bob Eisenbart has been with his partner for 34 years. Although interested in leather and kink since his teens, he only stepped outside his vanilla relationship to start exploring those interests in 2010. Anthony Ovaldson has been in a vanilla relationship with his partner Don Harmon for the past 10 years. He is currently Mr. San Diego Leather 2011 First runner up. He has always been into kink, but in just the past 5 years has been exploring his kink side more. Don Harmon is the vanilla half of the kinky / vanilla relationship with Anthony Ovaldson. He will bring the very important perspective of dealing with a kinky / vanilla relationship.

Erotic Cutting

As a SM scene, erotic cutting is enjoyed by pain bottoms who want an endorphin high.  For some bottoms it is terrifying and scary, for others it is a path of wonderful pleasures.  Because cutting transgresses our normal boundary of skin-to-air some experience this scene as a head trip as much as a physical trip. Tops get their own mysterious sadistic kicks out of it. The connection between the two players can be truly elemental.  This introductory workshop will focus on safety, technique, headspace, and having fun.

Presenter Bio:

Adam, a native Southern Californian, first discovered the joys of being a kinky bastard by accident at the tender age of six – when his older sister got pissed off at him and chained him to a door.  His formative high school years at New Mexico Military Institute only furthered his interests in kink, BDSM, and uniforms, not to mention helped solidify his developing reputation as a sadistic SOB.  It took years since that first incident with the chains before he discovered that there was an entire world full of wonderful pervs to play with, and he plunged into the Leather community with both boots on and never looked back.  

Adam now serves the Leather community as President of San Diego Leather Pride Inc.  In May, 2011 he had the great honor to be a judge for IML 33.   Adam was also Mr. San Diego Leather 2004, representing his community for a full and successful year, culminating in becoming one of the finalists at IML 27 in 2005.  His ongoing efforts in the community have been recognized by the San Diego City Council who named a day in his honor, along with being acknowledged by the San Diego Leather Awards as Man of the Year in 2005 & 2007, and Kinkster of the Year 2007.  He produces, judges and emcees at many events, and enjoys presenting leather and kink education throughout the country, including co-facilitating Pain Guild.  

Adam is proud to be an Associate Member of the Chicago Hellfire Club, well-known for his love of all things sharp and pointy.  He works actively with the Rodeo, Bear, and Imperial Court communities, and has been honored with a number of titles.  His favorite ones are “Mama’s Toro,” in Mama Sandy Reinhardt’s Leather Family, and “Saint A-damN’ Evil of the Miracle Whip,” bestowed on him by the San Diego Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.  Adam and his husband Timothy are legally married in the State of California, having the incredible opportunity of being one of the 18,000 same-sex couples who are still legally wed in spite of the best attempts of the advocates of Prop 8.   Adam & Tim remain forever grateful to his big sister and her chains

Temporary piercing is an intimate form of play, weather using it as part of an electrical, CBT or stand alone scene it all starts with the basics. Lets explore those basics together from safety and risk reduction to the piercing experience to after care and clean up.

I was lucky enough to catch her presentation for Avatar up in LA. It was a truly fascinating workshop!

The San Diego League of Gentlemen is proud to present Advanced CBT with Alan Stroik

Advanced CBT can be different for each person. What is heavy for one is foreplay for another. A good Midwestern boy gone bad (or maybe gotten better), Alan has been active for over 20 years in the BDSM/leather community in his hometown of Milwaukee- and now in Los Angeles. He is a Past President of both the Beer Town Badgers (Milwaukee, WI) and the Milwaukee Lesbian, Gay Pride Committee. He is President of Avatar Club Los Angeles. Alan is active locally in his adopted hometown of Redlands, CA serving as a volunteer for numerous civic organizations. He has served as an instructor for Avatar’s ALL (Avatar Leather Labs) classes on various topics including bondage, mummification, flogging, fisting, tit torture, electricity and many other subjects.

Alan has presented demonstrations to various groups throughout California, including Long Beach Gay Pride, Christopher Street West (Los Angeles Gay Pride-where he has co-chaired the Erotic City venue), OCLA, Threshold, Club X in San Diego, The Brotherhood in San Jose and has spoken on the subject of leather and BDSM at USC, UC Riverside, CSU-Long Beach and Orange Coast Community College. Daddy Bear Everardo will give a demonstration called “Sex on a Budget”. With more than 16 years of experience as a health educator, HIV test counselor, sexuality educator and safer sex advocate, Everardo will share some easy ideas on how to make erotic pleasure toys out of household items. It doesn’t have to be expensive to be kinky! You just have to be creative! Tips will include toys and techniques for maximum pleasure while still being of little to no risk for transmission of HIV or other STD. “Safer sex does not have to be boring sex.”

Presenter bio:

Everardo Aguilar, long time member of San Diego League of Gentlemen is a health educator with the County of San Diego Immunization Branch. He has 15 years of experience as an HIV prevention educator and was one of the original volunteers with the now defunct AIDS Foundation’s Project Lifeguard, the ONLY program of the AIDS Foundation targeting gay and bisexual men and the first prevention program to affirm sex and sexuality between men. Everardo’s presentation is called, “Sex on a Budget” and he will discuss erotic ways common household items can be used in sex play. All of the ideas and techniques demonstrated will show how “safer sex” can still be fun, erotic and economical while still preventing transmission of disease. This is an inter-active workshop and demonstration volunteers will be needed.

Bondage comes in many forms, shapes and sizes. There are many aspects to bondage that are often overlooked or not considered. Join our presenters as they take you on an exploration of aspects of bondage that are interwoven in the rich tapestry of the BDSM lifestyle.

Physical bondage takes on many forms and has a rich symbology in the use of restraints, locks, prediciments, and ropes. Anything can be used to place a person in bondage. Each has a different significance and can engender different reactions. How does a person react when tied with a silk scarf versus rope versus leather restraints versus chain? Explore not only the physical bondage event, but the mental struggles and mindest that happens in the power dynamic between top and bottom.

Mental bondage — the internal battle of will. Bondage extends past the physical, and often requires no physical restriction at all. Explore the symbology of mental bondage and the engendered mindset that allows a submissive to follow simply by command from their Dominant. By reaching within, a submissive has the strength of will to override that most basic of instincts – fight or flight. Join the exploration of this powerful aspect of invisible but ever-present bondage.

The Third Annual Interclub Holiday Party!

The holiday party is being held at the Joyce Beers Center in the Ralphs and Trader Joe’s shopping center in Hillcrest.

The holiday party is an opportunity for the kink and kink friendly communities to come together for an evening of fun and socializing. It is a low key event. There will be no fund raising, just all of us getting together and enjoying each others company. Since our first year, the attendance at this event has increased, and it has been a fun and enjoyable event for all who attended.

For the second year, we have received confirmation that Santa Claus will be in attendance. So, if you would like a picture with Santa, don’t forget to bring your camera! Unfortunately, Santa’s elves are busy working in preparation for christmas, so will not be available to take pictures at this event.

Dress for this event is casual to leather. Santa has assured me that he will be in attendance in his leather, and of course his traditional red suit.

It has been a lot of fun for the past two years, and all of the participating clubs are looking forward to another enjoyable event this year!

Terror Play – Taking one’s self to a state of mind beyond immediate fears Presented by Christi

Terror. It is a powerful motivator, and a powerful response. Movies that induce this state are some of the most popular movies in the world. Do you like terror movies? Do you like to watch people watch terror movies? Do you like the feelings that these kinds of movies invoke?

This form of “scene play” is not limited to the intense forms of using both your psychological and physical capabilities in play. The inner psyche holds no limits to the all inclusive scene capabilities that can be mastered and developed. Transitioning yourself into the state of mind (whether you’re a Top and/or bottom)to experience Terror Play can be a “tricky” negotiation. Communication in this realm is always of great importance!

Don K., a native of San Francisco, has been in the leather world for many years. He was a member of the 15 club in the Bay area. he also formed his own private spanking club in San Francisco.

Come learn about some of the skills you can use to enhance both your play and others.

Bikkja Amy

Bikkja Amy was Southern California Leather Woman (SCLW 2006) and has been creating mischief in the San Diego and Central Valley Leather Communities for the last seven years. True to her Capricorn nature, she jumped right into her career as a kinky woman when she first moved to San Diego in 2000 by becoming a member and board member of Leather and Sisterhood (L.A.S.H.). Shortly after, she became Knight of Leather 2002 for the 30th Reign of the Imperial Court de San Diego. She also served as Head DM for Club X-San Diego, and facilitated the San Diego Women’s Leather Rap group before moving to the Central Valley (Modesto) in 2004. While in Modesto, she continued her kinky endeavors by attending munches and play parties, conducted workshops, and somewhere along the way co-founded the Modesto Women’s BDSM Forum. As a player, she is a true Switch who is particularly fond of needles and poking people in myriad ways. She is way too serious when she is not being silly and feels that INTENSITY IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!!!!! She resides, once again, in San Diego with her partner of 6 years, their 3 sons, their 8 cats, and one dog.

Naria

Naria Lei B. Jordan is a longtime Radical Sex Perv Daddy who has been involved in the Queer BDSM Community for over 20 years as a practitioner, organizer, activist, and educator in the Kinky Arts.

She was a co-founder of two Women’s-only leather groups in Washington, DC—Lesborados and S/Mazons; an editor and writer for “Black Leather…In Color”, and the facilitator for the Women’s Leather Rap here in San Diego, and the facilitator for the Women’s BDSM Forum, which serves women in the Modesto/Central Valley area.

A writer, national speaker, and fancier of fine strong women, Naria is a relentless sex educator, a misunderstood yet flaming Pisces, absolute true Water Tiger, and always enjoys pushing the envelope—as often as possible!

Butter:

Butter has been in the San Diego leather community for almost 5 years now. He is an Erosgnosti of SuperPigs and a member of the San Diego Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and has been active in the past with the Leather History Project, Leather Realm, SDLOG, and Brothers. He’s a proud attendee of CHC’s Inferno for the last two years. Butter defines himself as a switch (depending on how he’s feeling that night). His interests include a wide variety of SM experiences, and he’s proud to say that he’s constantly learning.

“Lessons From The Tomb” or “Having Duct in Common”

The mystery of the Mummy. Who… or What… lay buried beneath those wrappings? Beware the Mummies curse they say. I dare you to enter the tomb of the Mummy. David will bestow upon you the great secrets from the tomb of …..???? Well, there’s only one way to find out. Attend the MUMMIFICATION process. There’s lots to see so please be on time as the door of the tomb creaks open and the mummy takes shape.
Perhaps you too can be a willing sacrifice, and soon be all wrapped up with everywhere to go.

Remember, Mumms the word!

This workshop will show various forms of wrappings for mummification and
different techniques for both the enjoyment of the Top and bottom roles.
Wrapping of the body fully in materials from head to toe is mummification.
This is one of your more Edgier play scenes. This Intense scene of
bondage deprives the bottom of most physical freedoms and promotes a deepened
sense of inner awareness. The bottom can experience feelings/thoughts and emotions
from euphoria to outright terror as they’re bound totally helpless within their
cocoon. Your newly formed mummy now becomes very sensitive to any outside
stimulation. With the process complete you can your mummy to altered
states through several hours of play.

Many safety features/situations will be discussed and a select few may be
taken for a new experience this evening.

Panel Biographies

Tim:

Master Tim is a member of the San Diego Leather community. He and his partner Bill are owners of Pleasures and Treasures, which carry a wide variety of fetish gear, including puppy gear. A wonderful addition to their lives has been Sport, the puppy that Master Tim trained.

Master Tim believes that some people are born with a puppy soul and it is the responsibility of a Master to allow that soul to manifest and the true puppy will be released. In puppy training, Master Tim says uses discipline and patients will help the puppy to learn to trust and respect their Master.

In puppy play, Master Tim gives the puppy the freedom to explore their inter-puppy. This creates a deeper connection between Master and puppy, which in turn helps in developing an extremely devoted puppy.

Furthermore, when a Master intermixes training and play the results are a much more rounded puppy with an incredible puppyality.

Pup:

PuP has been working his tail off as a volunteer masochist since being a wee puppy. In 1988, he became a Pride volunteer; that continues to this day. From there he strayed into the Imperial Court of the Black Cobra Emperor XVII, Roger Dennehy, the first leather Emperor in 1989. The next year he mooooved onto the rodeo, rounding up cattle as a shoots volunteer and stayed active with GSGRA until 1996. He has since returned to the Rodeo fold.

In 1996, PuP sniffed out the leather scene. A backstage kind of guy, he could usually be found wearing a headset as Stage PuP for a variety of events, fundraisers, local & International contests. He has been involved in the production of Leatherfests 8 through 11, the early years of the Realm of Leather, now commonly known as the Leather Realm, and was one of four founding members of San Diego Boys of Leather. PuP was Mr. July in the 2004 TLC calendar. He was nominated for a Pantheon of Leather Award and was the first recipient of the Loving Cub Award in 2005. He was presented the Richard Chatterton community service award in 2006. In 2007, he was awarded the Volunteer of the Year at the San Diego Leather Awards ceremony. Currently, he’s a member of Club X, SDLOG, The San Diego Leather boys, GSGRA, The Cash Cow Corp., & FTMI.

Not only Transpecies, PuP is also Transgender since he transitioned from Female to Male in 1999, entering yet another community where he is also active.

Quick with a Zippo and a smile, PuP wags his tail at most opportunities to serve his community.

Cobi:

Cobi is a member of Club X and proudly serves as Ambassador in the Leather Realm during Pride. He loves encouraging people to try new things and nothing excites him more than watching them do it for the first time–whatever it is. He likes to put people into situations and watchtheir reactions. Sometimes this means handing a Top an implement and seeing what they do with it and sometimes it means finding a sub or bottom to throw under a bus. Cobi is a queer switch, Sandra’s boy and tom’s Master, a Sister of Perpetual Indulgence, an instigator and a voyeur above all.

spike

spike (aka sam bacon) moved to San Diego 15years ago, and has been active in the Leather/BdSm/ Kink lifestyle for 10 of those 15 years. his first exposure to puppy play was via the now defunct website leatherdog.com and its webmaster jefpup. he was given his first collar and pup name, spike, as pupboy to his first Daddy. in 2003 he competed for and won the title of Mr San Diego Leather and went on later that year to compete at IML in Chcago, IL. in the past spike has also been involved in the set-up and operation of the Leather Realm at San Diego Pride. spike has also been involved with the Imperial Court de San Diego, having served in various reigns and on the board of directors. these days, spike takes it easy serving his Daddy, Robert Black.

Just as with any scene, there are many different aspects to a fisting scene. What kind of scene do you want? Fisting can be a scene unto itself, or it can be one part of a more complex scene. When does the scene start? How long does it last? What should you be aware of? What is the headspace for fisting as a bottom, or as a top? How do you get in to that headspace? Come learn about fisting as it relates to BDSM play.

Join the San Diego League of Gentleman for our traditional Thanksgiving Fisting workshop.

From the time bryan was young, he has enjoyed anal play. As he grew, so to did his enjoyment of larger and larger items. He was introduced to fisting at 17. As he continued his journey, he was introduced to the Leather Community and found where he belonged. Shortly after his 21st birthday, he experienced his first fisting as part of a BDSM scene; he was hooked. As he continued learning and growing in the East Coast Leather Community, he discovered his calling, to be a boy.

He met his Daddy, Mike, at a clothing optional party, and as the relationship grew, it developed naturally into a Ds relationship. They have spent the last 14 years in a 24 x 7 Ds relationship. His Daddy has facilitated his learning, allowing him to explore different aspects of the BDSM lifestyle. His experience ranges from impact play, including flogging, spanking, and caning, to electrical play.

They left the United States in January of 2001 to sail their boat throughout the Eastern Caribbean and North Coast of South America. Throughout his many travels, he has participated in being fisted and fisting in 7 countries, as a sexual encounter, a BDSM scene and as part of a BDSM scene. He has worked with many novice fisters, teaching them techniques in topping, as well as bottoming.

Since returning to the United States, he has continued his education in areas such as temporary piercings, fire play and knife play. bryan is always looking to learn new things, and to educate others on what he has experienced.
